Since I've started learning how to highlight/contour, deep/dark skin presents a huge challenge - from finding the right shades to blending to not looking ashy or blanded out. I was just about to give up right before I saw a video of a young lady who is darker than I am using the Bronze Babe/Brown Girl powders. So I decided to give them a try.
The Brown Girl is great for contouring with just the right amount of red without being overbearing. It doesn't take a lot and it goes on smooth. The Bronze Babe sets great under the eyes with the reddish/coppery tone and it doesn't look ashy afterwards. They look good when they're completely blended giving a smooth transition from the highlight to the contour. The pair really compliment each other and I'm pleased with the purchase and would buy them again.
